The PC300T is the USB variant of Honeywell's desktop line. A 4-inch machine built around easy consumable changes and a small footprint, sharing a platform with the PC310T.
A small detail with real value
Ribbon cores of 0.5 inch and 1 inch both work: 300 m on a 1-inch core, 75 m on a 0.5-inch core. That sounds minor until you have a shelf of 0.5-inch ribbon rolls. This printer keeps them in service instead of writing them off.
Media rolls up to 5 inches (127 mm), minimum label length 9.6 mm, media thickness 0.075 to 0.19 mm. Thermal paper, coated stock and synthetic media all fall inside that range.
Body and placement
A 268 mm body with a flat top, so units stack. Where bench space is tight, two machines stacked take half the area. The large window shows how much label and ribbon remain without opening anything.
LED indicators plus an ECO button. The ECO button calibrates with fewer labels consumed, which adds up over months of roll changes.
Printing and compatibility
50 to 150 mm/s at 203 dpi, 50 to 125 mm/s at 300 dpi, print width around 108 mm. Normal for a desktop unit and adequate for 100 x 70 mm labels and price tags.
The command set list is generous: FP, DP, IPL, ESim(EPL), ZPL-II and DPL. Most mainstream desktop printers can be replaced without rewriting templates, which matters to anyone with an existing host system.
PC300T or PC310T
One difference: the PC300T is USB only, while the PC310T has built-in Ethernet and accepts Bluetooth or Wi-Fi modules later. A single station wired to a PC is fine on the PC300T. Networking, shared stations or WMS integration point to the PC310T.
Both measure 268 x 198 x 168 mm and share consumables and accessories. Buying the PC300T first and moving to the PC310T later wastes no ribbon or media.
